Free and ready to use global marine environmental data
GMED is a global marine environment dataset. Publicly available climatic, biological and geophysical environmental layers of both present day, past and future environmental conditions. Layers were compiled together into a uniform Geographic Informations System ready dataset having similar extent and spatial resolution. The GMED dataset is ready to use with popular species distribution modelling (SDM) software like Maximum entropy (MaxENT) and for any other marine environment visualisation exercise.
